I’m David Watson. I build WordPress websites from our home in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley.

I’ve spent about twenty years working on the web, with experience across strategy, SEO, project management, and client service, but these days I mostly focus on building. I help people figure out what they actually need from a website, then build it in a way that is clear, durable, and easy to live with.

I work best when the visual direction is already in place, whether that comes from a designer or an existing brand. I’m often a good fit for designers who need a dependable build partner, and for small organizations or businesses that want a site that feels thoughtful, well-structured, and not overdone.

Outside of work, life is rooted at home. I live on a small homestead with my husband and son, where there’s always something needing to be planted, pruned, fixed, or hauled. A lot of my writing grows out of that life too, along with my interest in place, history, travel, family, and health.
