In 2007, at 24 years old, I cycled 7,550 kilometres across Canada to raise money for the Kidney Foundation and awareness of polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and organ donation. The journey took 100 days and raised more than $26,000. Nineteen years later, my own kidneys are failing and I am searching for a living donor. This is the story of Bike Canada for Kidney.
